Emmy and Twilight
OK this one requires a story. Dallan and I went to dinner on his birthday, Dal's cousin Heidi watched the girls. Auntie Heidi always has some kind of project for the girls when she watches them. This time it was sewing, stuffing, and decorating the clothes of a new teddy bear. So Emmy comes home and Heidi tell her to tell me what the bear's name is. Emmy tells me that her name is Twilight and she is "a member of our family". Heidi and I can barely hold in our laughs. Heidi later tells me that she had nothing to do with the naming of the bear. Emmy came up with it all by herself.

Stacey -Guitar Hero Master
Yes...that says 100%. I finally got 100% on medium level of "My Names is Jonas". The best part is that Dallan is the other score (91%). This is his game and his favorite song to play. He has played more than I have. Video games are "his thing". Dal's mad because I'm not supposed to beat him at things that are "his thing". That makes this victory even sweeter! HEE HEE HEE

Happy (Late) Birthday Callie
Callie had her 1st Birthday on Wednesday April 16th. It was so much fun watching her explore the cake, then taste the cake, then totally destroy the cake. She had a blast at her party. I can't believe that she is already a year old. She had a 12 month check up today and she is still holding strong at only 18.74 pounds (14th percentile) and 29.33 inches (59th percentile). She is totally our little spit fire. She keeps us all on our toes. If it gets too quite in the house we all start to wonder what she is getting into. It's a good thing you can't ever be mad at the cute face!

Provo here we come...again
We just found out last week that Dallan was admitted to BYU's MBA program. This was our top choice of schools we had applied to, so, needless to say, we are very excited (I think Dallan is relieved)!
So, we will be moving back to Provo in the fall -- once again taking our place among the poor college students.

Happy Valentine's Day
My Mom suggested that I should take cute pictures of the girls in Valentine outfits. I thought it was a great idea. I just should have known better to wait until after lunch to take Callie's picture. I guess she figures that clothes and pictures don't always have to go together.
Happy Valentine's DaySmarty Pants
A few days ago we were at Walmart and of course we were looking around in the toy section. (Because no trip to Walmart is complete without and stop in the toy section). We found this book called Preschool basics. I thought it would be fun so we bought it. We then came home, I put Callie down for a nap, and Emmy started working in this book. I kept asking her if she wanted to be done and she kept telling me just one more page. All I did was explain then instructions and she did the rest. Less than 2 hours later she was totally done with this 64 page booklet. I guess you could say she is ready for the challenge of kindergarten.

Wagon Wheels
I know it's been way too long since we've updated this...sorry! Between Dal's GMAT and trying to apply for Grad school, life has been a little busy. Here's a cute one of Callie trying to put an entire wagon wheel in her mouth. Cramming large amounts of food into one's mouth...hmmm...who'd she learn that from?

Haircut time!
In four years, Emmy had only had her hair cut once (that was just a trim last year). Today was her second time and she had a little more than a trim this time!
Here's Emmy holding her 11-plus inches of hair they cut off. She is going to donate it to "Locks of Love."
Her first look at the hair that was cut off. Despite the expression, she was really excited to get her hair cut.
Side view.
What a change. We think she looks older. What do you think?

Happy New Year!
We hope that 2008 is a great year for all of you, our friends, as well as for us. Isn't it great that we get a "clean slate" to work with every year? You can make new goals and just try to be better. Happy New Year!
