This is my favorite picture from our trip to Salem. Callie would crawl over to the door and talk to (and kiss) her reflection in the glass. It was awesome that she found her little "friend."

Callie and Kaleb were more interested in the ribbons and bows on the presents than the actual presents. This was Christmas Eve.

This is Blake and Erin's little boy, Kaleb. We hadn't seen him for a couple months; boy did he get big! He has had several nicknames, most recently "Dubbster." Emmy thought we were calling him "Dumpster" so she started calling him that and I liked it, so I am trying my hardest to make it stick. Who wouldn't want a cute little nephew named "Dumpster?"

The next American Idol?

Dallan's parents got a karaoke machine for Christmas and Emmy was more than happy to sing a few numbers.

Last year she wasn't quite sure about Santa, but this year she was first in line. I guess she figured that with a list as long as the one she wrote, she should become friends with the fat man.

Callie got a new coat for our trip to Provo for Christmas. This was just too cute to not post.

Emmy had fun painting these mugs with Dallan's cousin, Heidi, while Dal and Stace were at Dal's work Christmas party. The best part was drinking out of them the next day...

Move over Charlie Brown...There's a new little tree in town!

Emmy got this little tree from Heidi. It is dwarfed by our (not so) big tree, but she loves it and takes care to make sure the ornaments are perfect everyday.

HALLOWEEN

This is Callie my little elephant. And Emmy my little Ladybug Fairy.

I know that I am totally bias, but I think I have two of the cutest girls ever. Callie's cheeks in this costume are so cute. We had a great Halloween at the Huff house. Yes, those are pink princess shoes on Emmy. We talked about her being a fairy for Halloween, then my Mom bought this cute ladybug costume. So Emmy told me that she was going to be a ladybug fairy. And ladybug fairies wear princess shoes, not sneakers. We had a fun time at the ward "trunk or treat"and then we finished filling Emmy's bucket with candy at Heidi's house. Callie was so warm in her cozy little costume that she was asleep before trick or treating even started. Fun was had by all.

Reading

We go to the library about once a week and we probably read the ten books we check out at least ten times during the week. This time Callie got in on the action, trying to eat all the pages. How quickly I forgot that everything goes into the mouth of a six month old.

Grandpa MyMy's B-day

Grandpa MyMy (or Grandpa Favorite as he likes to be called) had a Birthday at the end of September and so naturally Emmy and Austin got to blow out his candles.

Callie's first time...

We've had a couple of 1st since last posting. ( I know it's been way too long- sorry) This is Callie's first time in the swing at the park. And her first time in her exersaucer. She looks totally thrilled doesn't she?!

Emmy learns to drive

Uncle Jeff and Aunt Jami had an old Power Wheels car at their house, and Emmy took the opportunity to learn to drive. Her cousin, Austin, was the passenger, and they both had a great time. She only crashed a couple of times!

Emily gets a unicorn

Dallan's cousin, Heidi, took Emmy to one of those "Build-a-Bear" places for her birthday. Emmy got to choose the animal she wanted, and decided that a unicorn would be the best choice.

After stuffing it, brushing it, and dressing it, Emmy happily went home with her new friend, Dottsy the unicorn (she choose the name too, though we can't figure out where that one came from). She had a great time with Heidi.

Emily's Birthday

Emmy turned 4 on September 6 and had a great birthday party at her grandparents' house. Stacey made her a blue butterfly cake (as requested).

Callie gets some "real" food

Callie recently ventured into the world of "real" food (if you can call that rice cereal stuff real). These expressions aside, we think she likes it. Only one month of this nasty junk and she can move on to more exciting foods, like oatmeal!

July Trip
